Introduction
Always confidential in our work, Buckland Driving School intends to continue to maintain this by abiding by the new EU regulations and making it clear to the customer - our students.
This notice contains details on areas of privacy that you may be concerned about or wish for further explanation, beyond conversation upon starting the lessons. This in support of being registered with the ICO: Information Commissioner's Office -The UK’s independent authority set up to uphold information rights in the public interest, promoting openness by public bodies and data privacy for individuals.
Who are we?
Simply put, the only data holder of any information the student provides will be Beverley Kiltie, owner and instructor for BDS.
What information do we collect?
The only information that will be held by the student is contact numbers and details pertaining to the pickup/drop-off of the student. Footage recorded by the dashcam is for insurance or education purposes and is deleted upon students passing. It does not record the students face or identity being an outward facing camera.
How do we use personal information?
We only use personal information for maintaining contact from the student, or for the purposes of receiving payment for the lessons.
When do we share personal data?
Personal data pertaining to name and contact details are only shared with relevant parties (other instructors) at the express consent of the individual.
